<== Notice The 6 Pack Abs
You know, there’s a lot of jockeying around by the health and fitness industry talking about the “magical” properties of 6 pack abs.
And, naturally, I think it’s a little misleading.
In this video, I talk about why I think the supposed main “benefit” of 6 pack abs is misleading…
… and what is MORE important for you to understand instead.
(It has to do with “cream”… and the 80/20 principle)
Stay cool,
Brad
p.s. Agree, disagree? Let’s talk about it.

Yeah, the six-pack is really the crown jewel of a well developed physique, certainly not the be-all end-all. I think it’s because getting both the six pack AND decent muscle mass is so hard that it gets so much attention and is so sought after.
Exactly.
The 6 pack on it’s own is not as effective as the 6 pack + filled shoulders…
I’m greedy – I’ll take both thanks – shoulders and abs! But I’m going for lower body fat too so I get the definition of the muscles I’ve worked so hard on in the gym. Worst look of the guys I see working out is the “very heavy lifters” – huge shoulders, pot belly, no definition… in street clothes they just look fat and unhealthy… No thanks!
lol… of COURSE you’ll take both.
That’s the whole point
I have a great body, but my head is too big.
I have been working on my shoulders arms and chest for a few years now, and the payoff is I look good in jeans and a T shirt…or almost anything. I usually wear a muscle shirt and jeans in the summer…lots of looks from Woman….I’m 52! I’m going for the abs next!
This video is freakin garbage… you didnt say anything useful about anything! and definitely not anything about abs.
Thanks John!
We’ve got HOURS of audio on abs and bodyfat, this is a different perspective…
… just click the podcasts category and choose your poison.
Ladies and Gentlman, an IDIOT!
We try… lol
True perspective: truth is this- shoulders, chest, back, butt…and THEN you end up in BED with her and she sees your abs then….and even then….6 pack is not as important as a flat stomach….
“Don’t walk around with your shirt off”? Brad you need to come to Australia! You’d love it this time of year (it’s summer here). In Western Australia (where I am), New South Wales (remember the Sydney Olympics?) and Queensland, we have a strong beach culture and some people spend almost half the year without their shirts! If you go out of Perth/Sydney/Brisbane to the holiday destinations like Rottnest (just came back from there), Gold Coast or Surfer’s Paradise, pretty much no-one has a shirt on.
Here, I’d have to argue that abs are more important in Australia than shoulder size.
Having both AI & abs will really set you apart from the crowd – most guys here that look good have either one or the other. Thanks to your program I’m well on my way and my wife loves it (being 6’4 doesn’t hurt either lol)!
Cheers mate.
@Mike, yeah, but those are exceptional circumstances…the problem for me with MOST seduction material is that it is limited in its application: bars, clubs, etc (especially the BS one night stand stuff which is almost WHOLLY applicable to places where alcohol is being sold). Good seduction stuff (like Adonis) focuses on doing two things: getting men options and choice in ALL facets of their seduction life; not just that part of the seduction life that takes place at a bar OR that part that takes place on a Sunny Australian beach.
Most of us spend most of our time walking down the street, going to and from work, queing up at a pub/bar or wherever for a drink or two….not places where are abs will be seen (unless we are making the big mistake of wearing a too tight shirt, which is a turn off for most women). What is seen is well defined shoulders, chest, v-shape (AI) and butts, and women notice all of that first (and as i said in my last comment, ya need a flat stomach…)
@Mike … I’m gonna hold you to it… lol.
But I will say, from my experience, a set of good shoulders and so so abs will trump a set of great abs but so so shoulders.
That’s my “take home message” I guess.
It’s apparent we need to think through these things a little more. You guys are way too smart to let little snafus slide by… lol
It took setbacks for me to learn also, and think its the case for a lot of people, its a marathon not a sprint.
Nice one! If I could write like this I would be well chuffed. The more I see articles of such quality as this (which is rare), the more I think there could be a future for the Net. Keep it up, as it were.
I got my pot belly from drinking a lot of beer. now i have to do a lot of Cardio to remove my pot belly.’:”
pot belly is sometimes very annoying, it make you looks quite fan*.`
you will easily get pot belly if you are eating too much carbohydrates ;;
I respect your opinion, and i guess to each its own. Getting the six pack abs is my first priority for me though. I always felt six pack abs was the most impressive thing you could attain, but thats just me
I thought the same thing at first, but I could send you a few photos of people with six-packs that look just terrible. You have to have a decent shoulder mass AND a six pack for that great look to really take shape. If you don’t have the shoulder/upper body mass to go with it, you’ll just look skinny.
In your opinion, where does gaining muscle make the most impact? I’m interested in gaining a small amount of muscle(10 lbs)? I’m thinking Chest and Shoulders, or Chest & Biceps. Your thoughts? Remember i only want 10 lbs, i’m not trying to be or get huge…..
