How's it going, John?

I've seen some questions in the past regarding both cardio and sports performance. I just finished month 2 on the main program and did the 12 week base foundation.

For several months before I started the program, I played basketball 2 to 3 times a week for an hour and a half to two hours each session. I continued with my basketball routine during AI. Even with all the cardio, my AI went from 1.21 to 1.36. (46/38 to 49/36 with ideal 51/32. Probably would be a lot higher with an improved diet.)

As for sports performance, AI def has improved my performance in basketball, especially on the defensive end. I am faster, quicker, stronger and jump higher. This has led to more rebounds, blocks and steals. In several months of playing basketball and lifting without the Adonis Effect, I saw little improvement in my game. In the months since I started the Adonis Effect, I improved immensely.

Thanks,

Hey I have a couple questions I bought the Adonis 3.0 system and I love all the info and I am excited to get started but I am a little confused 1.) How should I go about nutrition? I Want to gain as much muscle as I can so I can close in on my AI I need to add 6inches in circumference to my chest and shoulders and reduce my waist by about 2 inches. 2.) Can I gain just as much muscle if I use eat stop eat so I can reduce my waist while building muscle? 3.)How should I split the Adonis workouts some have 5 workouts and some have 4 but should I be doing tthem in a row? Or should I do 3 days on 1 off then 2 on and 1 off? Or how should I split it or should I even split it?

Hi guys,
I have quite a big problem:
I`ve been a fat kid for almost all my life (I`m 20) and since I found Adonis and Anything Goes Diet everything changed . My results are going very well but I`ve mostly been focusing on weighloss cause I really hate being fat. I`m 5`9 (176 cm) and I now weigh 140 lbs lost 36 in the last 2 moth with severe diet following AGD and ESE pricniples. My waist is 75 cm and even though thats almost 4 cm below my ideal Adonis waist I barelly can see a bit of my upper abs. What should I do?Keep dieting or go more on amintanance and focus on growin?MY shoulders now are 113 cm so my AI is roughly 1.5 . Please any advice would be great and PS. how do I now my end weight so I can stop dieting?
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
This one is for John (but any of you feel free to coment!):
I understand the reason why there are no squats and deadlifts in the Adonis program is because you wanted to avoid people getting hurt, as many are unexperienced lifters.
I bought Adonis and really want to use it, but I can honestly deadlift and squat well. And I love it! Any ideas on how to incorporate these without screwing your program?
Thanks, and congratulations for you, Brad & Brad for the great work.

How to exercise and not get hemorhoids? I have them since January, I changed my diet, my external hemorhoids are back inside, but when i tried to exercise again i ended up with new flare ups. So my question is is there any proper way to lift heavy without getting the discomfort of hemorhoids?

p.s. I know this is a bit uncomfortable question but please answer it to me because it is very important for me.

Hey guys.

Is the 12 week muscle foundation program designed to also build a strong AI or is it just a series of exercises designed to prep you for the actual AI workouts? And if it isn't designed to help you achieve your AI, does it make sense to just go right into the first AI cycle?

Thanks guys. Awesome program.

Hello, I was wondering what I should do if my shoulder measurements are actually greater than the number that they are supposed to be for my AI. For example, my ideal waist size for my height is 29"; therefore my ideal shoulder measurement for that waist size is (according to the chart in the main manual) is 46.92; currently my shoulder measurement is 47.4 and my current waist measurement is 33; so my question is, what should I do to get my correct AI? Should I just focus on decreasing my waist size? Should I focus on decreasing my shoulder size? Neither one? Will it simply even out once I've lost enough body fat? Thanks for your help!

It's last to go. It also may have a rate limiting step involved as your body can only released fatty acids at a certain rate from those areas.

Height is included in the optimal AI calculation, so all the ratios are based on current height.

A great AI trumps height. But height trumps a poor AI. :)

So yes, even with height versus (blank), what you can control always makes the most difference.

Hey Brad,

I was reading your Adonis Physique as a weapon report, and you were talking about when it comes to physical attraction, the things that make the most difference is the things people CAN control like body shape, grooming, and clothes. My question is body shape more important than height? Can a perfect AI make up for height? I assume Height wouldn't be included in body shape because like like facial structure that is something more determined by God or Genetics.

I did my measurements but also my %of bodyfat. I've been a competitive wrestler and powerlifter for years. I also do gymnastics just as a way to stay athletic. I roll around between normally at between 9 and 6% body fat. I have a thicker waist ei lower back muscle from years of volume and development. I have a 34 inch waist i'm six feet tall. If I stop the power lifting will the waist size come down on it's own or am i stuck from the years of volume? Every thing is pretty much where it should be but the waist.

John - for muscle maintenance purposes does the type of training program matter as long as it is still some form of resistance? For example, if I built my physique by doing low-med rep heavy lifting with dumbbells and barbells, can I maintain it by doing bodyweight circuits? Obviously strength numbers will decline, but would the muscle mass as well?

hi guys, im just curious on ur veiws......do u agree with the idea that to lose fat u need to go below ur BMR for calories an to incress muscle u need to have more calories more than ur BMR, or can both be done at the same time.

what im trying to say is if i have a lower kcall for losing fat will the slow my muscle growth....an do these reply to sumone using illegal gym enhancements
