Hi guys,
I have quite a big problem:
I`ve been a fat kid for almost all my life (I`m 20) and since I found Adonis and Anything Goes Diet everything changed . My results are going very well but I`ve mostly been focusing on weighloss cause I really hate being fat. I`m 5`9 (176 cm) and I now weigh 140 lbs lost 36 in the last 2 moth with severe diet following AGD and ESE pricniples. My waist is 75 cm and even though thats almost 4 cm below my ideal Adonis waist I barelly can see a bit of my upper abs. What should I do?Keep dieting or go more on amintanance and focus on growin?MY shoulders now are 113 cm so my AI is roughly 1.5 . Please any advice would be great and PS. how do I now my end weight so I can stop dieting?

LOL according to the Rule of 7s, I have about 20 more pounds of muscle to develop before my body is optimized. Yikes!

Brad & John, very interesting and also inspirational for me as well. ... Very helpful. I am hoping that the more muscle I build, the more my skin will tighten up, especially since I lost a ton of fat.

Thanks,

This is great stuff (as always) guys. I do have one lingering question here...I am 6'4 223 right now. Ive lost 7lbs since going AI 2.5 weeks ago and my ideal w/s are 34/55. I would consider myself a meso-endo (I would probably consider myself heavily endo). I am now almost to a 35" waist, which by this calculation means 5 lbs away from my ideal waist. HOWEVER, my problem, and what has always been my problem are my hips. My body for whatever reason, just stores all of my weight in my legs and on my hips (lower back). Can I assume that once at the golden waist that the 5lbs will equate to an inch off the hips??? Do you have any speculation as to how to factor that in to the "goal" or ideal weight once set? I feel like 205ish may be right on once I get there, but since I consider myself to be somewhat unique when it comes to fat distribution, where does that all fit in?

feed the muscles with lots of goodness...and burn the fat with a little target cardio...the kind your body says works for YOU!

HIIT broke down my muscles...i had to switch to lower speed, higher inclines to build and it still seems hard!

Good luck! its a tough nut to crack, but once you get there - adaptive thermogenesis will take care of you 80% of the time so long as you're taking care of the nutrition 80% of the time :)

Sunde,

First of all congrats on the gain in shoulder measurement growth! That is impressive. I agree that you're a true ectomorph and I'd say not to worry about bodyweight. There are many factors that go into your day to day weight and I wouldn't worry too much about bodyweight (it's an irrelevant number)

I really cannot guess at what your weight might be.

And yes our calculations are for average mesomorphs so if you don't hit our calculated numbers exactly I wouldnt' worry about it, just focus on your ratio and building muscle...you'll look good no matter what you weigh.

Hi,

I realised you said you would be coming up with some correctional factors for extreme endo / ectos. Based on that, I have a quick question.

Age: 21
Height : 6foot~6foot1
Weight: 60KG
Shoulder Circumfrance: 44.5inches
Waist : 28.5inches

Based on my measurements I'm pretty sure I'm an extreme ectomorph, so I'd understand if you're not able to answer this.
I started using the manual with the same waist measurement but have gained about 3.5 inches in shoulder circumference.
Can you hazard a guess as to what my ideal weight would be?
using the AI manual I think my ideal waist is 32, and shoulders is 52.

Yeah I've heard this too, saying that it builds the lower back and hip muscles as well as others?

Although if true, you'd be able to achieve the same the same effect doing different exercises that used the same muscle groups.

Please answer this question, thanks!

go heavy for buidling muscle. exhaust it. keep the intake up and use that for fuel while you build. also when you eat after and during the course of a day for energy and recovery.

creatine will blow you up fore sure. just temporarily.

This question seems to be a bit on the topic.
I have heard this myth or what one should call it, and it is that you geta wide waist from squatting and deadlifting without a belt. Wanna debunk this myth?

What we think really doesn't matter :)

The math is there, the question is whether you can stick to it.

Write those numbers down on a calendar and mark them off as you achieve them.

This helps a lot.

"Persecution" is a strong word, but it's the only one I can think of that accurately describes what happens in the emotional tone I'm trying to convey.

My guess, you'll be sub 168 "dry" at your ideal waist and shoulders, and 172-173 ish normalized.

It's a cool experiment none the less.

The amount of protein to maintain muscle is grossly overstated.

Most "normal" North American diets supply enough protein (over 100 grams per day roughly) to support muscle growth and maintenance.

Also, don't forget that your body is always "recycling" and "re-pooling" proteins into the blood stream (see "How Much Protein" Book for details)

Because I'm now close to being in the "build" program and don't want to switch mid stride.

Any of the programs will work just fine. The deficit is what I'm after, which is gonna be all nutrition based.

I'm 5'7" with a 39" waist and I need to get down to 31" waist. My plan of action: 1200 cals 6 days a week, 2200 cals 1 day a week, until my waist gets down to 31" (in about 3.5 months). I'm a pure endomorph. What do you guys think of this plan?

Thanks for the golden info
