Also, I forgot to mention - since I have that dreaded skinny-fat look, does this complicate things for me, or will I have to start gaining significantly more weight on your program (other programs tell me to do this which annoys me)

Would it be possible to do the workout using just adjustable dumbbells, bench, pull up/chin up bar and bodyweight exercises? Very interested in this, but its just not possible for me to get to a gym 4 times a week, as I live in the middle of nowhere :(

Joe,

Your 16 years old. Do you think that maybe you just need to age a bit before you can reach a 1.61?

My sholders wont get any wider, because my bones wont let them... If I work my shoulders more, I'll look way too muscular, like a bodybuilder. As far as I know, this is not attractive to normal women. What do I do?! I'm 16, and started lifting weights one year ago. Is this the reason why I don't get wider? Is there any way I can still reach 1.61? I have a waist of 76cm. The wierd thing is that every part of my body, EXCEPT my shoulders are getting bigger. :/
Help!

I was wondering whether the initial 12 weeks are easy on the legs? I've got a bit of a knee injury, nothing major but i could do with laying off the running for a while until I've had it scanned in the upcoming weeks. If it was more lifting then this wouldn't be a problem but pounding the streets could prove a problem.

Thanks in advance.

So I know this is likely a very naive question but once the initial 12 week workout program you sell is completed, what is the best way to retain & maintain the physique you achieve?

Hello,
I wanted to ask if I could do a booster and a half or no?

This might sound funny, but the thing is you guys said that adding a set or 2 every day is manageable. So I asked this question because I think I need more work on my chest and shoulders.

For example: I'd be doing 2 days of shoulder specialization per week and just 1 day of chest specialization per week. That's what I mean by a booster and a half. Is that ok, Or it would be too much?

Any help would be appreciated!

Feasibly, you could.

But the systems have been tested and tweaked for 4 days. This is def a question for the Insider's Club (you get 30 days free with AI3 purchase), as there are a few people that have tested 3's.

I'm not sure off hand of their overall results though.

Point blank. If working out 3 days is that important, I'd suggest you NOT invest in AI3... mainly because now you're adding another variable and changing the systems and how they are laid out completely.

The whole point is to have a cut and paste system for you to follow each time you go to the gym, with minimal tweaks so you can get predictable results.

Essentially, by going 3 days and/or attempting a mashup, you defeat the whole purpose.

It's also REALLY hard for us to give you feedback when you're not getting the results you want and you aren't following the program as designed.

We've got loads of data on 4 days and know what to expect and what the common sticking points are.

This common thread allows us the best chance of helping you... since we can't see or critique you face to face.

So to recap, do 4 days because:

1. That's the way it was designed (3 days would have been designed differently)

2. All the data is there, feedback, sticking points etc... and it gives us the best leg up to help you out.

Thanks for your reply. I absolutely makes sense.

Actually, I was thinking if there was any way to do four workouts's worth of exercise over the course of three days instead of over four days. I.e. the same amount of work per week, but one less trip to the gym. At the moment, I'm doing a full body program three days a week, so I'm used to long workouts - that isn't going to be a problem. I'm just wondering if it's possible or if that is going to be too much specific work (I understand there's a lot of arm and shoulder work in this program).

You can go 3... but it's built for 4.

If you only go 3, you miss out on 40-52 workouts a year. Unless your schedule is ultra frantic and it's COMPLETELY unavoidable, do 4 days.

Remember, time = gains, and it's something you can't get back.

Make sense?

Hi,

I've been looking at this program and I have to say I'm intrigued. But before I go forth and get a copy, I have one question:

I understand the Adonis Index System is based around four workouts a week. For convenience, I prefer working out three days a week. Is there any way of making this happen, or would I have to conform to the four day template?
